Kate Grimes is a talented New York-based actress, born and raised just outside of the city that never sleeps. Her impressive body of work has been showcased on various platforms, including network, cable, and streaming television.
One of her most notable roles was as Andy Garcia's wife in Amazon's "Modern Love". She also had a recurring role as Dr. Jessica Wilson on CBS's "Bull", and appeared in Marvel's "Daredevil". Kate's character in "Law & Order: SVU" was a mother, opposite the iconic Mariska Hargitay. She also played Piper's lawyer in "Orange is the New Black" and starred in a hilarious sketch about plastic surgery with Amy Schumer on "Inside Amy Schumer".
The facial prosthetics in this particular sketch took an impressive three hours to apply. Kate's work on the big screen includes a feature film directed by Michael Engler, who is also known for his work on "Downton Abbey". The film, titled "The Chaperone", starred Elizabeth McGovern and was written by none other than Julian Fellowes, the creator of "Downton Abbey".
