Kate Kelton's unforgettable turn in the cult-classic film Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (2004) solidified her passion for the craft after her initial foray into print and commercials work in Toronto, Canada. This talented actress had previously made a name for herself as the world's first non-blond "Tic Tac Girl" in an incredibly popular campaign that aired for nearly a decade.
Kelton's big-screen debut took place at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she made a brief cameo appearance in the Oscar-nominated director Deepa Mehta's film, The Republic of Love (2000). Alongside several indie films and TV guest spots, it was Shaggy's hit music video for "It Wasn't Me" that first introduced her to a global audience, a feat that Tic Tac would later replicate.
Born in Bamberg, Germany, Kelton spent her childhood traveling across Europe with her artist mother before moving to Canada at the age of seven. After attending the prestigious Etobicoke School of the Arts, a performing arts high school, she went on to study film at Ryerson Polytechnic University, where she minored in philosophy and psychology, graduating with honors and earning a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Kelton is also a published author, having contributed to the book "Making It in High Heels: Inspiring Stories by Women for Women of All Ages" (Burman Books Inc.). Furthermore, she has exhibited her artwork internationally, showcasing her diverse talents and artistic range.
