Katelyn Logan Wells, a talented Canadian-born actress and award-winning screenwriter, embarked on her on-screen career at the tender age of 14, shortly after signing with her first agent and attending Ottawa's esteemed Canterbury Arts High School.
Notably, Katelyn has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry, playing the role of Silver in the highly anticipated second season of Netflix's Ginny & Georgia (2021),which has garnered a new legion of LGBTQ fans. Her impressive resume also includes portraying Mary Joe in all three seasons of the Netflix/CBC original Anne with an E (2017) and Daphne in Freeform's #1 rated show The Bold Type (2017),further solidifying her connection with audiences.
Throughout her career, Katelyn has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most respected actors and filmmakers in the industry. One notable experience includes working alongside Brie Larson on the academy award-winning film Room (2015),as well as Oscar-nominated directors Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala on their horror film The Lodge (2019).
A graduate of Ryerson University's Radio and Television Arts Program (2017),Katelyn is thriving in her post-graduate career, both in front of and behind the camera. Her award-winning original feature screenplay, One Foot Over the Edge, has been making waves at the festival circuit, and she is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to green light production on her debut feature within the coming year.
When not busy on set, Katelyn can be found writing in coffee shops, enjoying the company of friends at the cottage, or practicing yoga at the studio, all in an effort to maintain her zen and creative balance.
