Katie hails from the sun-kissed state of California, where her formative years were spent basking in the warm glow of the Golden State's radiant sunshine. It was during her eighth year on this earth that her father, seeking to forge a lasting bond with his young daughter, began to ponder an activity they could undertake together, much in the same manner as he had once coached her older brother's Little League baseball team to victory.
As fate would have it, a casting notice for a community theatre production of the beloved musical Annie caught his eye, and with a sense of excitement and anticipation, he decided to audition for the role alongside his talented daughter. And so, Katie was cast as the spirited and charming Molly, while her father took on a supporting role within the ensemble, thus commencing a cherished and unforgettable experience that would forever hold a special place in their hearts.
