As one of the pioneering co-founders of The Open Fist Theatre Company in Los Angeles, Kathleen has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's mission to bring forth innovative and intellectually stimulating theatrical productions.

Kathleen's storied career has been marked by a multitude of distinguished collaborations, as she has had the extraordinary opportunity to not only produce, but also direct and perform with a wide-ranging assortment of renowned theatre companies, including the esteemed Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company, the innovative The Evidence Room, the dynamic Workshop 360, and the illustrious Odyssey Theatre Ensemble.

The incredibly talented individual has been fortunate enough to receive a plethora of prestigious accolades and nominations, showcasing her exceptional range and versatility as a performer. Notably, she has been recognized by esteemed publications such as Back Stage West and LA Weekly for her outstanding leading roles in the vibrant Los Angeles Theatre scene.

One of her most notable performances was her captivating portrayal of Petra in The Bitter Tears of Petra Van Kant, a role that truly showcased her remarkable acting abilities. Additionally, she delivered a standout performance as Dusa in Dusa, Fish, Stas and Vi, bringing depth and nuance to the character.

Furthermore, her interpretation of Maya in Blood Moon was nothing short of mesmerizing, demonstrating her impressive range and ability to fully immerse herself in the characters she portrays.

Kathleen's impressive acting career is merely the tip of the iceberg, as she has also dedicated herself to refining her skills as a coach, with a particular focus on speech work and the acquisition of dialects. As a professional speech and dialects coach in the television and film industry, she has achieved a high level of expertise, having earned not one, but two certifications in Voice and Movement training from the prestigious Lessac Institute. Furthermore, Kathleen's expertise has been recognized with a Phonetics Certification under the guidance of the esteemed Louis Colaianni.

Notably, Kathleen has also had the distinction of appearing in prominent roles at Malibu Stages, where she has demonstrated her remarkable acting prowess in a variety of productions. In particular, she has taken on the demanding role of Patty in the critically acclaimed play "Kimberly Akimbo", starring alongside the talented and accomplished Katherine Ross, whose impressive range and depth as an actress have been widely recognized.
