Kati Salowsky's childhood in New England was marked by a profound passion for performing, as she would often sing Disney songs with her cousins and stage elaborate shows for her stuffed animals. At the tender age of three, her parents introduced her to the world of dance, and shortly thereafter, she began figure skating, where she would continue to hone her showmanship skills and compete in national and world competitions for the next twelve years.
As she grew older, Kati's desire to take her performing to the next level became increasingly evident. She became involved with her middle school's musical theater program, and it was during this time that the spark of her true calling was ignited.
Throughout her teenage years, Kati continued to participate in community stage productions, but as she entered college, she decided to shift her focus to a degree in Sports Medicine. She went on to become a Strength & Conditioning Coach in the Greater Boston Area, a career path that she would pursue for a time.
However, Kati soon found herself missing the thrill of performing, and it was during this period of introspection that she stumbled upon a feature film shooting at her local mall, Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009). This chance encounter would ultimately set her on a new path.
Kati's foray into the Boston film scene led to a series of bookings on local projects, and eventually, she made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where she currently resides. It is here that she is able to pursue her creative passions, while also devoting time to the practice of reiki and spending quality time with her dogs by the beach.
As an actress, Kati has appeared in the Netflix feature films The Polka King (2017) and Secret Obsession (2019). She is also the producer of the new philanthropic VR video game, Rhythm of the Universe: Ionia (2021),in which she lends her voice to the lead character, Allegra, and contributes to wildlife conservation efforts.
