Katie Amanda Keane, a talented individual, was born and raised in the heartland of America, Kansas, where she initially pursued her passion for theatre, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Undeterred by the distance, Katie's ultimate aspiration was to relocate to the west coast, which she accomplished by securing a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting from the esteemed California State University, Long Beach.
Her affinity for classical theatre led her to join Shakespeare Orange County, where she mesmerized audiences with her captivating performances as Katherine in Taming of the Shrew, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, and Desdemona in Othello, among other iconic roles.
As her acting career flourished, Katie garnered an impressive array of guest star credits, which ultimately led her to secure a series regular role on the ABC Family show Ruby and the Rockits, alongside legendary performers David Cassidy and Shirley Jones.
In addition to her impressive acting resume, Katie is also a skilled writer, having developed projects with some of the most respected producers in the industry.
When not acting, writing, or pursuing her creative endeavors, Katie dedicates her time to her toddler, Huck, who is, without a doubt, the most precious individual in the world, or volunteering at the Best Friends Animal Society, where she works with the most wonderful dogs waiting for their forever homes.
