Katrina Law, a dynamic individual with an abundance of energy, was born and raised in South Jersey. Her mother, a brilliant and perceptive parent, recognized Katrina's boundless energy at a young age and took proactive steps to channel it into various activities. These endeavors included dance and gymnastics classes, karate lessons, soccer practice, voice coaching, and many more. It's safe to say that Katrina's mother attempted to expose her to almost every activity imaginable.
Upon graduating from high school, Katrina's yearbook was filled with photos showcasing her impressive involvement in various extracurricular activities. She was a member of the Varsity Track team, Varsity Soccer Team, Varsity Cheerleading Squad, and even the Varsity Weightlifting Team. Additionally, she was a member of the National Honor Society and won the title of Miss New Jersey Teen USA, which led to her representing the state at the national television finals.
Katrina's diverse range of interests and activities, combined with her unique physical appearance, often prompts people to ask her, "What are you?" To answer this question, Katrina is a quintessential small-town American girl. Her parents met during the Vietnam War, with her father serving in the U.S. armed forces as a Catholic of German and Italian descent and her mother being a Buddhist living in Taiwan, working as a bartender. This eclectic blend of cultures taught Katrina valuable lessons about tolerance, patience, understanding, and humor, which continue to guide her to this day.
After earning a theater degree from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Katrina further developed her acting skills in the cities of Philadelphia and New York. There, she not only refined her understanding of acting as an art form but also honed her knowledge of the acting business. In New York City, Katrina earned her SAG eligibility on the set of Lucky Numbers (2000) with Nora Ephron and John Travolta, and she later joined SAG after booking a guest star role on NY's Third Watch (1999). Since then, she has appeared in numerous projects, including a three-episode arc as the Mord'Sith Garen in Legend of the Seeker (2008) and as the series regular Mira in the hit show Spartacus (2010).
