A visionary Japanese creative force, renowned for their mastery of the silver screen, television drama, and theatrical stages, emerged from the charming Marugame City, nestled within the picturesque Kagawa Prefecture. As their illustrious career unfolded, they became an integral part of the esteemed Production IG Planning Department, solidifying their status as a prominent figure in the Japanese entertainment industry, beginning in 2013.

Their inaugural foray into directorial work took place in 1992, with the helm of Fuji TV's collaborative TV late-night drama, paving the way for their subsequent involvement in the omnibus drama "The World's Strange Stories", where they brought their unique vision to the table by directing the critically acclaimed "Let's End".

Fast forward to 1996, they made their film directorial debut on July 7th, with the release of the thought-provoking "Sunny".

Their impressive trajectory continued with their involvement in the directing team for the critically acclaimed "There is no money!", a project that garnered them a glowing recommendation from the esteemed Yuji Oda, ultimately leading to their appointment as chief director of the highly successful "Bayside Shakedown", which was later adapted into a movie series, garnering widespread acclaim and prestigious accolades, including the 22nd and 27th Japan Academy Award for Excellent Director.

They occupy the prestigious position of first place in the realm of live-action Japanese paintings within the context of the second series, boasting an unparalleled level of excellence.

In the month of April, 2011, a distinguished individual assumed the role of visiting professor at the esteemed Shikoku Gakuin University, where they were affiliated with the "Body Expression and Performing Arts Management Major", also commonly referred to as the "Drama Course". This significant appointment marked a notable milestone in their academic and professional journey.

Fast-forward to October 2012, they made a groundbreaking debut as the director of the animated film "PSYCHO-PASS", a project that showcased their exceptional storytelling abilities and technical prowess. This achievement was a testament to their growing reputation as a talented filmmaker.

Since 2013, they have been actively involved in directing the annual "Sanuki Film Festival" in their hometown of Kagawa Prefecture, a role that has allowed them to contribute to the local film community and nurture emerging talent.
