Throughout his distinguished career in the anime industry, Kouchi has left an enduring legacy, with a notable highlight being his exceptional work on episodes of the cherished series, Detective Conan. In addition to his impressive body of work on the aforementioned series, Kouchi has also demonstrated his remarkable versatility as a writer and producer, being responsible for the creation of the majority of the movies released prior to his retirement in 2014, a testament to his dedication and expertise.
Kouchi's existence was unfortunately terminated prematurely due to the calamitous and destructive consequences of pancreatic cancer, which ultimately led to his demise in the year 2016.
