Keanu Lee Nunes, a Canadian actor born in Johannesburg, South Africa on March 5, 1996, is the son of a father born in Lisbon, Portugal, and raised in South Africa, and a mother born in King Williams Town, South Africa, of Chinese ancestry.
As a young boy, Keanu's family relocated to Neuchatel, Switzerland, in 1996, and later to Toronto, Canada, in 2000. This diverse upbringing had a profound impact on his life and would later influence his acting career.
Before pursuing a career in acting, Keanu was an accomplished amateur teen gymnast, competing at the European Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2014, as a member of the Portuguese National Team. His impressive gymnastic skills were showcased in the 2014 music video "Something Big".
Keanu's passion for acting began in high school, and after graduation, he attended Humber College to study acting. He subsequently landed a series of TV roles and lead roles in feature films, including Run Kai Run, Murder U, and Being Single.
As his acting career progressed, Keanu secured series regular roles in TV shows such as Ruby and the Well, Mayday, Han Xin, 2nd Generation, and ZAPS, Inc., as well as a feature film role in Riot Girls.
