Keith was born in Anchorage, Alaska, where his early years were filled with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, with a passion for skiing, fishing, and camping. However, his parents' decision to return to their roots in Western Pennsylvania's Amish country marked a significant turning point in his life, as he discovered his talents in music, acting, and theatre during his teenage years.
He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in music education/trumpet from Clarion University, followed by a stint as a high school band director in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Keith's love for performance and storytelling led him to pursue a Master's degree in theatre/voice from the University of Miami in South Florida.
After completing his education, Keith settled in New York City, where he began his career in the entertainment industry. His breakthrough came when he co-starred in the Off-Broadway production of "Mademoiselle Colombe" alongside Tammy Grimes, which caught the attention of Harold Prince, who subsequently invited him to join the Broadway company of "Phantom Of The Opera".
Throughout his career, Keith has had the privilege of working with renowned directors and performers, including Stephen Sondheim and John Doyle, and has appeared in numerous Broadway productions, regional theatre, opera, and even at the White House for President George H. Bush. He has also had the opportunity to perform in symphonic concerts around the world alongside Skitch Henderson and Peter Nero.
Keith's transition to television and film was marked by early appearances on TV, followed by more significant roles in film and episodic television, including "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", "Royal Pains", and "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll". His recent film credits include "Joker", "Red", "Diving Normal", and "Crime Partners".
As a writer, Keith has penned the screenplay for "Conduit", a thought-provoking story about a cynical woman who travels through time to alter the events of 33 AD, only to find herself confronting personal demons and risking a cataclysmic change of history.
In his personal life, Keith continues to make the New York area his home, where he is often busy on set or in the theatre. When he's not working, he can be found pursuing his passion for flying, as a single-engine pilot. Keith's idea of the perfect weekend is a flight to a new location, where he can indulge in his love for the outdoors, whether it's golfing, scuba diving, skiing, camping, or fishing.
