Keith Shaw's illustrious career in the film and television industry spans over two decades, with a diverse range of credits to his name.
He began his journey as a documentary writer, penning several projects for Canada's largest production company, Insight Film Studios. In 2001, Keith made the transition to dramatic writing, crafting his first movie, "Maximum Surge" (also known as "Game Over").
This marked the beginning of a successful stint in dramatic writing, with Keith working on several projects, including the series "Painkiller Jane" and "K-9", as well as the films "Captive Hearts", "Presumed Dead", and "Home for the Holidays".
In 2003, Keith returned to factual writing, producing the HD documentary "Easter Island, Children of the Moai", which was commissioned by Discovery HD, CBC "Nature of Things", and NHK Japan Hi-Vision. This feature-length HD doc was a direct result of Keith's winning the "HD One-page Competition" at the Banff Television Festival the previous year.
Throughout his career, Keith has continued to write and collaborate on numerous productions, including the movie sequel "Art of War II" for Sony Pictures, the highly rated SyFy original movie "Malibu Shark Attack", and the co-written film "Phantom Racer".
Since 2013, Keith has taken on the role of executive producer, overseeing films such as "Absolute Deception" starring Cuba Gooding Jr., "Pound of Flesh" with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and "Hard Drive" with John Cusack and Thomas Jane.
Among his recent writing credits are "Buried Secrets" and "Maternal Instinct" for Lifetime Network, as well as the original story idea for the Rom Com series "Honeymoon in Paradise".
In addition to his writing and producing credits, Keith has also taught screenwriting at film schools in Vancouver and Shanghai. In 2021, he joined the team at Ambitious Entertainment, further solidifying his position as a respected and accomplished figure in the film and television industry.
