Kelleia Sheerin is a multifaceted performer, born and raised in the Wild West, with a diverse range of skills and accomplishments in the entertainment industry. In 2020, she co-founded Pink Box Productions with her husband Peter Downing, and has since become the co-creator, director, and star of the absurdly sexy film Mother F*cker! (2021).
As a filmmaker, Kelleia has made a name for herself with her debut short film, The Feminine Mystaque (2018),a dark comedic feminist horror flick that won awards at the Wildcat Spirit Film Festival and FirstTime FilmMaker Sessions. Her work has been recognized and celebrated for its unique blend of humor, horror, and feminist themes.
In addition to her work in film, Kelleia has had a successful career as a performer, dancer, and director. She has won awards for her direction, including the "Best Director" award at the Hollywood Fringe Festival for her production of I Want to Bury My Testimony. She has also danced as an absurd Scottish Tart in Eric Idle's live radio-play What About Dick? (2012),and has appeared in a range of other projects, including the film Gangster Squad (2013),where she portrayed the iconic Burlesque Star Tempest Storm.
Kelleia has also had a successful career in television, having appeared in shows such as Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015),and having originated the role of Billie "Veruka" Wynette on Broadway in Urban Cowboy, The Musical. She has also choreographed on a myriad of shows, plays, and musicals, and has built a reputation for her ability to bring a unique understanding of the work to her projects.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Kelleia is also a dedicated teacher and creator. She has been teaching her weekly dance class, Kelleia & The Jazz, for over a decade, and has built a loyal following of students who refer to the class as "sexy church." She is also an environmental advocate, and has a passion for clean, alternative energy. She supports BareFoot College, a village-based organization that empowers women to become solar engineers, and has created a line of eco-friendly products, including The Luna Bag, made from HEMP and recycled bamboo.
