Kelly's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of three, when her parents were approached by a talent scout to feature her in a shampoo commercial. This marked the start of a lifelong passion for performing. She went on to graduate with honors from the esteemed USC Acting Conservatory, where she received multiple awards for her outstanding performances, including the prestigious Jack Nicholson Award, the James & Nony Doolittle Award, the Aileen Stanley Award, and the Sharon Gless Scholarship.
Throughout her career, Kelly has had the privilege of working with some of the top regional theatre directors in the United States. She has collaborated with renowned directors such as Bill Rauch of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Norma Saldivar, formerly of the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, and Leslie Swackhamer, formerly of Seattle's ACT Theatre and the Cleveland Play House. Kelly has also moonlighted in sketch comedy shows with Drama ¾, alongside her trusted comedic sidekick Pam Cook.
In addition to her work in the theatre, Kelly has been traveling the world, undertaking artistic projects as a writer and actress. She has collaborated with Italian director Stefano Salvati on multiple projects and worked with some of Italy's most esteemed talent, including Gina Lollobrigida and Gianni Morandi. Kelly is set to make her big screen debut in October 2008 in the European release of Albakiara (2008).
Kelly is currently in development on a sitcom for US television and is in negotiations to co-produce an international release for the cinema. In her spare time, she translates screenplays, acts as a ghostwriter, and is finalizing the edits on her middle-grade novels, which she has also illustrated.
