Biography

Ken Webb, a native New Yorker, embarked on a remarkable career in the entertainment industry, commencing as a writer/director of on-air promos for VH1 immediately following his graduation, where his thesis film, "The Waiters", garnered numerous accolades and reached the esteemed position of region finalist for the Student Academy Award.

Throughout his 20-year tenure in the field, Ken Webb has demonstrated his versatility by directing music videos and short films, including the New York Times-published Op-Doc "Subway Alarm", which played a pivotal role in silencing the noise pollution of the emergency exit door alarms in New York City, a problem that had persisted unchecked for nine years.

In recent years, Ken Webb has directed the "Got Milk Parody" commercial for the Broadway show "Hamilton", showcasing his ability to adapt to diverse creative projects. Notably, he has also shared his expertise by teaching film production at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
