Kent Nolan, a talented actor and filmmaker, was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. His journey in the performing arts began at a tender age of five, when he started studying drama, dance, and voice in musical theatre. As he grew older, Kent's passion for acting only intensified, and by the time he was twelve, he had transitioned into film. At sixteen, he wrote and directed his first award-winning short film, "Presage", which marked the beginning of his fascination with filmmaking.
After completing high school, Kent relocated to Toronto to hone his classical acting skills at the renowned George Brown Theatre School. Throughout his illustrious career, he appeared in over forty theatre productions, as well as numerous films and television series. Notable highlights include collaborations with acclaimed filmmakers such as Terry Gilliam, John N. Smith, and Jennifer Lynch, as well as starring roles in the feature film "Stage Fright" by Sundance award winner Jerome Sable.
At the time of his passing, Kent was dedicated to developing his debut feature as a writer/director.
