Kentez Asaka, a talented individual born in the vibrant Downtown Tokyo, Japan, has been dancing since the tender age of 15. His passion for urban dance led him to travel the world, honing his skills and, in the process, perfecting his English language abilities. Upon returning to his native Japan, Kentez further refined his craft by joining an esteemed acting studio, where he studied the renowned method acting technique.
As his acting career began to take off, Kentez landed the lead role in the critically acclaimed and long-running play Pacchigi!, playing the character of Onishi. This breakthrough performance catapulted him into a successful career in front of the camera, starring in a diverse range of Japanese and international films. Some of his notable credits include Ierey-san, directed by Egor Baranov, Crows Zero II, directed by the acclaimed Takashi Miike, and most recently, The Netflix Original, The Outsider, directed by Martin Zandvliet, as well as Mikcocchaken, directed by Su-yeon Gu, in which he portrayed a Shinto Priest, showcasing his impressive range as an actor.
