Kevin Deters, a talented individual, began his career at Walt Disney Animation Studios in 1996, where he contributed to various films as a member of the clean-up and story departments. He worked on projects such as "Mulan," "Tarzan," "Lilo & Stitch," "Brother Bear," and "Chicken Little," refining his skills and gaining valuable experience.
In 2007, Deters made his directorial and writing debut with the animated short film "How to Hook Up Your Home Theater." This marked a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his abilities as a storyteller and filmmaker.
Deters continued to excel in his profession, creating three award-winning "Prep & Landing" holiday specials for ABC television, as well as the short film "The Ballad of Nessie," in collaboration with his creative partner Stevie Wermers-Skelton.
In 2017, Deters directed the holiday featurette "Olaf's Frozen Adventure," released both theatrically and on television. This project was produced by Roy Conli, who is also known for his work on the Academy Award-winning film "Big Hero 6."
