Kevin Van Doorslaer, a multilingual and internationally recognized actor, writer, and director, hails from a community of traveling funfair folks and graduated from the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. With a strong educational foundation, he has gone on to collaborate with renowned stars such as Russell Crowe, Jean Reno, Jean Dujardin, and Jean-Claude Van Damme, among others.
Throughout his illustrious career, Kevin has demonstrated his versatility by writing and directing numerous stage productions, as well as the award-winning short film "Rendez-vous mè Dieu". His feature film, De Ville en Ville, received support from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and is currently in pre-production.
In addition to his work in film and theater, Kevin is the founder of the renowned theater and film school, The Acting Studio Brussels. He is also a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and earned second place at the 2024 European Championship in Paris.
As a proud father of two daughters, Jo and Brooklyn, Kevin is committed to passing on his passion for the arts to the next generation. Jo carries on the family tradition of traveling from town to town with the carnival, while Brooklyn will appear in his upcoming film 5 Past 12.
