Khiyla Aynne is a 17-year-old performer and engaging storyteller, showcasing her versatility on Paramount+ in the upcoming drama series "Happy Face" alongside Dennis Quaid, Annaleigh Ashford, and James Wolk. In the series, she plays Hazel, the 15-year-old daughter of Ben and Melissa, who initially believes her mother is on a simple business trip but soon discovers a shocking truth about her mother's past.
This role marks a significant milestone in Khiyla's career, following her guest appearance in Apple TV+'s Emmy-nominated sci-fi anthology "Circuit Breakers" as Cassady, a character grappling with procrastination and time management. Her previous credits include the Netflix feature film adaptation of Broadway's "13: The Musical" as Charlotte, UPtv's "Christmas on The Rocks" where she took on dual roles as twins Sarah and Jennifer, and as Jenny in the Netflix children's horror-fantasy film "Nightbooks".
