Kim-Lian van der Meij, a truly dynamic and multifaceted Dutch individual, burst into the world on October 1, 1980, in the charming town of Beverwijk. From a tender age, she demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for various dance disciplines, consistently showcasing her exceptional talents by participating in numerous local playback shows. In fact, her early years were marked by a series of impressive performances, including appearances in Henny Huisman's Mini-playbackshow at the tender ages of six and eleven.
Kim-Lian, a talented individual, embarked on a brief stint in the Dutch musical production of "Home" during the inaugural season of the Kids Top 20. This marked the beginning of her foray into the world of musical theater. In the following year, 2003, she took on the captivating role of the little mermaid, sharing the stage with renowned Dutch actress Kathleen Aerts in the musical adaptation of "Kunt u mij de weg naar Hamelen vertellen, mijnheer?".
As her musical journey continued to unfold, Kim-Lian landed the role of Janis in the production of "Doe Maar!", a musical that premiered on January 28, 2007. This marked a significant milestone in her career, showcasing her versatility and range as a performer.
