Kim Matula, a talented actress from Fort Worth, Texas, embarked on her acting journey at the tender age of 12, and by the time she turned 15, she had already sent out her headshots and secured an agent. After completing her high school education, Matula pursued a degree in film at the University of Texas at Arlington, but her burgeoning acting career necessitated her departure from academia. In 2008, she made her television movie debut in "Queen Sized" and landed a recurring role on the show "Pink" the following year.
As her acting career continued to flourish, Matula made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles in 2009, allowing her to focus exclusively on her craft. Her move paid off, as she was soon cast in the long-running soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" in 2009, where she played the iconic role of Hope Logan, the youngest daughter of the beloved heroine Brooke Logan, portrayed by Katherine Kelly Lang. Matula's performances earned her frontburner status on the show, and she remained the central figure for most of the years spanning 2012 to 2014.
Despite receiving a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for her outstanding work, Matula opted not to renew her contract and bid farewell to "The Bold and the Beautiful" in December 2014, marking the end of an era in her career.
