Kimberlee Peterson's life was a stage from the moment she was born, with a passion and determination that propelled her through various activities, including dance and gymnastics. Her family was often amazed and entertained by her presentation, and as a child, she was slight in stature, had little freckles on her face, was pigeon-toed, and inherited her mother's ears.
Growing up was challenging for this sensitive heart, as other children would sometimes make fun of the way she looked. However, Kimberlee's innate talent and passion for the arts shone through early on. At the age of 4, she worked on a Perry Mason television show, and by 10, she was doing training films for a police department, receiving praise and accolades for her performance.
As she turned 12, Kimberlee competed in "Hooray For Hollywood," a competition held in Los Angeles, where she won awards and garnered interest from Hollywood agents and managers. The following year, she made the trek to Los Angeles for pilot season, booking jobs and becoming eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild. It was clear that she had the substance and drive to pursue an acting career.
At 14, Kimberlee and her mom moved to Los Angeles permanently, and by 15, she booked the lead in her first film, "Homecoming," opposite the legendary Anne Bancroft. Since then, she has built a full resume, working on television shows and films.
Kimberlee's heart is one of the reasons she shines so brightly, and wherever her career takes her, a star has truly been born. She will make a difference in the world, because she is willing to go the distance.
