Kimberly Arland grew up in the Twin Cities, surrounded by a diverse, eclectic, and multi-talented family and environment. From a young age, she was immersed in various artistic and athletic pursuits, including acting, dance, choreography, touring, boxing, martial arts, sports, modeling, and music. These early experiences laid the foundation for her future endeavors.
Before the age of 13, Kimberly had already established her own performance company, personally booking gigs with large companies and performing at notable events, such as Sammy Davis Jr.'s birthday party. She also toured with her family's performance troupe and modeled for numerous magazines and catalogs. By the age of 17, Kimberly had written and toured her own plays, received sports and academic scholarship offers, and taken on various leadership roles, including student teacher, student counselor, and dance instructor.
Kimberly's accomplishments continued to mount as she entered her early twenties. She worked with Prince on several projects, managed her own talent management company, and performed with multiple bands, touring as a singer, dancer, and choreographer. She also appeared in several national commercials and began to establish herself as a multifaceted artist.
Since then, Kimberly has continued to work in various capacities, including acting, voice-over work, and behind-the-scenes roles. She has managed a record company, photography studio, and multiple talent agencies, and has worked in full-time Christian ministry for over a decade as a television production director and consultant. During this time, she developed skills as a non-linear editor and motion graphics artist, and was hired by various ministries to train their staff in television production.
After relocating to Los Angeles, Kimberly quickly booked her first starring role in the unreleased film "Lady Samurai." She has since continued to act on multiple platforms, tour with Eastern Sky Theatre Company, and develop her directing and producing skills through various video, television, and live production projects.
