Kirk Hunter, a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience and expertise in Motion Pictures and Video arts, boasts a technical proficiency in a wide range of formats, including HD, 4K, and Digital, as well as Super 8mm, 16 mm, and 35 mm film formats. With a rich portfolio of work, Kirk has been involved in the production and co-writing of several low-budget features, including "Barn Of the Blood Llama", "Forced Exit 2000", and "SlackerDome". He has also written and directed documentaries, such as "Big Shadow" and "Last Kind Word", and has collaborated with other filmmakers, including Brian Hansen and David Boone.
In addition to his work in feature films, Kirk has a strong background in television production, having served as a producer for 20 years at Austin Access, where he was known as "Kirk-O-Matic". During his tenure, he produced and shot numerous series shows, including "Cheap Peeks", "Cipherscope", "FireBox", and "Kirk-O-Matic LIVE!". He also taught camera classes and editing at ACTV, and served as a tech adviser and teacher at the Austin School of Film from 2005 to 2012.
