Klára Issová is a renowned Czech actress with Syrian roots, boasting an impressive résumé of over 80 film and television appearances. Her notable international roles include playing the lead love interest opposite Sean Bean in the Fox/TNT series "Legends" and portraying Marie Curie in the National Geographic drama series "Genius: Einstein".
This talented actress has received numerous accolades, including the Shooting Star Award at the Berlinale Film Festival, and has been nominated three times for the Czech Lion Film Award, taking home the award once.
Klára's extensive experience on stage spans 15 years, during which she has not only acted but also produced two productions. Some of her most notable stage roles include Stella in "A Streetcar Named Desire", Alice in "Closer", Catherine in "A View From The Bridge", Lady Anne in "Richard the Third", and many more.
Before embarking on her acting career, Klára graduated from Prague's Conservatory of Dramatic Art and honed her craft under the guidance of renowned coaches Joe Weintraub and Bernard Hiller. She has also participated in various physical workshops, including pantomime, improvisation, and dance flow, to further develop her skills.
