Atsuo Kato, professionally known as Kosei Kato, was born on April 26, 1972, in Akita, Japan, a city situated in the northern region of the country, approximately 400 kilometers northwest of Tokyo. As an accomplished actor, Kosei has made a name for himself through his diverse range of roles in various Japanese television series and films.

One of his most notable performances was as Mitsuhiko Ishibori/Hajime Yamaoka/Dark ZAGI (Voice) in the popular Japanese television series "Ultraman Nexus" (2004),a show that aired on TV Tokyo and has gained a significant following worldwide. His portrayal of Hirukawa in "Ultraman Mebius" (2006) and Dailu in "Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey" (2008) further solidified his status as a talented actor in the Japanese entertainment industry.
