Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Kosha began her career in the city, making her TV debut in HBO's The Wire in 2002. She went on to win the Irene Ryan Acting Award and appeared in Disney's family drama Tuck Everlasting alongside Sissy Spacek and William Hurt.
