Kristi Somers, a stunning blonde with a captivating presence, was born on May 9, 1962, in Encino, California. She attended Fullerton Union High School in Fullerton, California, and later pursued her education at Fullerton College.
Her acting career began in 1983, and with her charming face, radiant smile, toned physique, and effervescent personality, Somers brought a spark to a select few low-budget, B-flicks throughout the 1980s. Her most memorable roles include the sassy and spunky "Michelle" in the cult classic Hardbodies (1984),the brash "Seville Ritz" in the lighthearted Tomboy (1985),and the snooty "Rikki" in the delightful Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985).
In addition to her film appearances, Somers made notable guest appearances on popular TV shows such as Charles in Charge (1984),Cheers (1982),Full House (1987),and My Two Dads (1987).
After a 13-year hiatus from acting, Somers made a triumphant return to the screen with a significant supporting role in the indie drama, The Substance of Things Hoped For (2006).
