Kristin was born in the state of Ohio, specifically outside of the vibrant city of Chicago. Her father, a skilled and accomplished chemical engineer, played a significant role in her upbringing, while her mother, a talented and beautiful individual, devoted her time to raising their four children. Kristin's early life was marked by her passion for the performing arts, as she was frequently cast in various school plays.
After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance at the University of Illinois, Kristin relocated to the iconic city of New York, where she continued to hone her craft. It was during this time that she caught the attention of Annie Flanders, the renowned editor of Details magazine, who was strolling through the trendy streets of Soho. Flanders introduced Kristin to Wilhelmina, a prominent modeling agency, and shortly after, Kristin found herself strutting down the catwalk in Paris just two weeks later. This experience not only furthered her career in the modeling world but also enabled her to become proficient in the French language.
For the next decade, Kristin divided her time between runway modeling and pursuing her first love, acting. She trained at esteemed acting studios, including the American Place Theatre in New York, under the guidance of Wynn Handman. Kristin's extensive resume includes appearances in films, off-off Broadway plays, television shows such as All My Children, and commercials.
After a several-year hiatus from the entertainment industry, Kristin has made a triumphant return to the stage and screen. She has starred in numerous indie films, including Gnaw, The Black Hole, and The Frame, as well as various plays and commercials.
