Kristina Grozeva's academic odyssey commenced at Sofia State University, where she successfully completed her degree, laying the foundation for her future endeavors. However, her innate passion for filmmaking soon began to overshadow her journalistic pursuits, prompting her to seek further education at the prestigious National Academy for Theater and Film Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. Under the watchful eyes of renowned professors Georgi Djulgerov and Svetoslav Ovtcharov, Grozeva refined her skills in film directing, thereby equipping herself with the technical expertise and artistic vision necessary to excel in her chosen craft.

Petar Valchanov and Grozeva's collaborative endeavors commenced during their time at the academy, where their student short films garnered widespread recognition and accolades at various prestigious international student film festivals.

The creative duo, Grozeva and Valchanov, made a significant impact with their subsequent short film, "Jump", which garnered widespread critical acclaim and recognition.
