Ksenija Marinkovic, a talented individual, was born in Virovitica in the year 1966, where she completed her high school education. Prior to enrolling in the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, she was actively involved in the Virovitica theatre as an amateur actress, a passion she pursued from the tender age of eight until she entered the esteemed Academy.
As a student at the Academy, Marinkovic began to collaborate with the renowned Gavella theatre and the Histrioni troupe. Upon graduating from the Academy, she spent a year with the 'Teatar ugostima' before being employed by the ZKM theatre in Zagreb in 1989, a position she has maintained to this day.
During her tenure at the ZKM theatre, Marinkovic has created some of her most significant and iconic roles, including the memorable performances of Mowglie in The Jungle Book, Nausikaja in Ulysses and Son, Harpa in Harpa, Irina in Three Sisters, and Elvira in Insektarij. In addition to her work at the ZKM theatre, Marinkovic has also taken on notable roles outside of her theatre, and has appeared in both television and feature films.
