Kurtis David Harder is a Canadian filmmaker who has produced over 10 feature films, making him a prolific young director in the industry.
Starting his career as a music video and commercial director in Vancouver and Toronto, Kurtis directed dozens of commercials and videos for various humanitarian organizations such as Compassion International and ChildCare International, working in over 10 countries including Uganda, Colombia, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
At the age of 18, Kurtis made his feature film debut with Cody Fitz, which went on to play at film festivals around the world and received several awards. His second feature film, Incontrol, debuted internationally at FrightFest UK to rave reviews and was released globally. His most recent directorial films, Spiral and Summerland, both received critical acclaim upon their release.
As a producer, Kurtis has worked on several notable films, including Still/Born, which won "The Scariest Film" award at The Overlook Film Festival and is set to be released by Vertical Entertainment and AMC's Shudder. He also produced What Keeps You Alive, which premiered at SXSW and was named one of the top 10 horror films of 2018 by Rolling Stone Magazine.
