Kyle O'Reilly is a Canadian professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Kyle O'Reilly. He is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment, appearing with their developmental territory NXT.
Early Career:
O'Reilly began his professional wrestling career in 2005, competing for Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW) and Evolve. He made his debut at ECCW's television tapings on December 23, 2005, and went on to compete in several matches throughout 2006 and 2007.
Independent Circuit:
O'Reilly continued to compete on the independent circuit, making appearances for Full Impact Pro (FIP),Evolve, and Dragon Gate USA. He also competed in several tournaments, including the Pacific Cup and the Survival of the Fittest tournament.
Ring of Honor:
O'Reilly made his debut in Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2009, competing in several matches throughout the year. He went on to form a tag team with Adam Cole, known as Future Shock, and the two won the ROH World Tag Team Championship on several occasions.
Pro Wrestling Guerrilla:
O'Reilly also competed for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG),winning the PWG World Championship on one occasion.
New Japan Pro Wrestling:
Through ROH's relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW),O'Reilly made appearances for the Japanese promotion, winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship on two occasions.
Evolve:
O'Reilly made his debut for Evolve in 2017, competing in several matches throughout the year.
World Wrestling Entertainment / WWENXT:
O'Reilly made his debut for NXT in 2017, turning heel and forming a tag team with Bobby Fish and Adam Cole, known as The Undisputed Era. The team went on to win the NXT Tag Team Championship on several occasions.
Personal Life:
O'Reilly has type 1 diabetes and cites Bret Hart, Toshiaki Kawada, Royce Gracie, and Muhammad Ali as his role models. He is also a fan of snowboarding and has worked as a cook in the past.
