Biography

Kyle C. Mumford is a renowned NYC-based artist, whose creative journey began at the prestigious School Of Visual Arts. In his third year, he produced a documentary titled "Mumford's Law," which gained international recognition by being accepted into the esteemed Heartland Film Festival in 2009 and receiving a nomination for the coveted Crystal Heart Jury Award.

As he progressed, his thesis film, "His Naked Mind," showcased exceptional craftsmanship, earning top honors at the School of Visual Arts Dusty Film Fest, including Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Directing awards.

Upon graduating in 2010, Kyle ventured into the film and television industry, honing his skills as an editor and locations expert. He later served as an assistant to writer/director Tom Gormican, before transitioning to directing music videos that aired on prominent networks such as Nick Jr, MTVu, and Fuse TV.

Kyle's involvement in the NYC theater scene was marked by collaborations with esteemed actor coaches Anthony Abeson and the late Elizabeth Kemp. His trio of short films, "Making Friends," "The Door," and "Jamie & Jonathan," garnered widespread recognition by being selected for prestigious festivals like Palm Springs International ShortFest, Florida Film Fest, and Portland Film Fest, among many others.

Throughout his career, Kyle has penned numerous screenplays, several of which have reached the second round in esteemed competitions such as the Austin Film Festival and Sundance Labs.
