Biography

Kyle Whalen's remarkable acting career commenced during his high school years, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for the performing arts. Subsequently, he has continued to hone his craft as a regular performer at the prestigious University of Oklahoma School of Drama, where he has had the opportunity to take on a diverse range of roles.

Kyle's impressive repertoire includes standout performances such as Thurio in Two Gentleman of Verona and Leicester in Mary Stuart, demonstrating his versatility and range as an actor. Furthermore, he has also showcased his skills as a dramaturg for notable productions like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Sunday in the Park with George, highlighting his ability to work effectively behind the scenes as well as in front of the camera.

Throughout his extensive career, Kyle has had the privilege of being part of several notable productions, including Oklahoma City Theatre Co.'s production of Agatha Christie's Mousetrap, which further solidified his reputation as a talented and dedicated actor.

Currently, Kyle is taking center stage as the lead in Two Gentlemen of Verona, and is set to dazzle audiences once again in Cymbeline this summer with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park.
