Lachlan Buchanan is an Australian-born actor who initially gained recognition in the Australian surfing drama film "Newcastle", where he played the lead role of Jesse alongside notable actors Barry Otto, Xavier Samuel, and Anthony Hayes.
Throughout his career, Lachlan has appeared in a multitude of film and television projects, including the popular ABC teen series "Blue Water High", HBO's "Hung", Freeforms' "Pretty Little Liars", MTV's "Teen Wolf", and the CMT sitcom "Working Class", starring alongside Ed Asher and Melissa Peterman.
He is particularly well-known for his roles as Ryan in The CW's "Dynasty" remake, which spanned over three seasons, and his ongoing role as Emmett Dixon in the hit ABC drama "Station 19".
Recently, Lachlan has been seen starring in Netflix's adaptation of the beloved novel "Wellmania", playing the role of Gaz Healy opposite Celeste Barber and Remi Hii.
Born in rural Maleny, Queensland, Lachlan began his career by performing in school and local theater productions at a young age, gradually working his way into television and film. He currently resides between Australia and the United States.
