Fawzi, a talented actress, was born in Turkey to Egyptian parents, with her father operating fabric stores in prominent locations such as Cairo, Damascus, and Istanbul. Her remarkable journey in the entertainment industry began when she won the prestigious Miss Egypt contest in 1940, subsequently landing a small role in the Egyptian movie Wives Factory in 1941.
Following her debut role, Fawzi went on to star in a multitude of roles across film and television, a feat she achieved until the early 21st century when she decided to retire a few years prior to her passing.
