Laimarie was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, a city rich in cultural heritage, where her creative journey began. At the tender age of 5, with the guidance of her father, she started writing, casting, and directing plays for her church, always taking on the leading role.
As the only girl and the youngest of four children, her parents fostered and encouraged her creativity, providing a supportive environment that allowed her to flourish. When Laimarie was 7 years old, her family relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, a move that proved challenging for her, as she struggled to communicate in English and was unable to participate in school productions for a while.
However, Laimarie's determination to learn English drove her to focus on her studies, and she quickly became involved in school plays and folk dancing competitions at her elementary school. Her dedication paid off, and at 13, she won the Miss Indianapolis Teen USA Pageant, an experience that instilled a new sense of determination within her.
The following year, Laimarie entered the Millie Lewis Modeling Competition in Atlanta, where she won 2nd place overall in both the runway and commercial competitions, as well as 1st place overall in the photography competition. Her talent caught the attention of a few agencies from New York, and within a few months, she was in New York, attending castings.
After a couple of months, Laimarie returned to Indianapolis, where she continued her education. In 1996, she was accepted into Conceptos, the prestigious music school at Televisa in Mexico City, Mexico. Upon her return to the United States in 1998, she made the move to Miami, where she worked as the host for Caliente on Univision.
In 2001, Laimarie took a trip to Puerto Rico to compete in the Miss Toa Alta Universe Pageant, where she emerged victorious. She then went on to represent Toa Alta in the Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant, during which she guest-starred in the TV show Eso Vale and appeared in the publications Vea and Vanidades.
In 2002, Laimarie relocated to Los Angeles, where she currently resides and continues to work as an actress, pursuing her passion and living her dream.
