Growing up in Faribault, Minnesota, Landyn's interest in acting was sparked by his participation in a few elementary school plays. This initial exposure to the world of acting left a lasting impression on him, and he continued to nurture his passion for the craft throughout his formative years.
As a student at Faribault Senior High, Landyn's shyness prevented him from pursuing his dream of being on stage during his high school years. However, his desire to act never faded, and he continued to yearn for the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. After years of waiting, Landyn finally took the leap and auditioned for a film in October 2006. His big break came when he landed a role in the film "Tales of the Dead" produced by Haunted Autumn Productions.
Landyn's success in his first film role paved the way for his subsequent appearances in various projects. He landed a role in the film "Uppercut Cafe" due to his ability to speak English with a German accent, which showcased his versatility as an actor. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous films, as well as commercial work, internet videos, music videos, infomercials, and the internet series "The Show SoGay," where he plays the role of his character's next-door neighbor.
As a member of Equilibrium Media and Triwar Pictures, two Minnesota-based independent production companies, Landyn has had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.
