Langley McArol is a remarkable individual, having overcome the challenges of being one of the youngest documented cases of a rare childhood cancer diagnosed in infancy. From the age of one to three, he underwent adult-level radiation and chemotherapy treatments, and at the age of three, his cancer went into remission. Thirty-plus years later, Langley remains cancer-free.
Raised by his mother and grandparents in the Appalachian region of Southern Ohio, Langley's life took a devastating turn when he lost his mother and grandparents consecutively at the age of 16, leaving him an orphan. After a few years in the foster care system, Langley graduated high school and enrolled in college to study social sciences and voice. It was during his studies that he discovered his passion for acting, and he never looked back.
Langley took his passion for the arts seriously, working with a private coach, Jim Taylor Hayes, who was the founder and artistic director of a touring children's theatre company. He was cast in several productions and later received a performance scholarship to the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York. After relocating to the Southeast market, Langley worked in theatre, voice-over, and in front of and behind the camera.
In 2016, Langley made the move to Los Angeles, where he has worked in television, film, and voice-over. In addition to his acting career, Langley is a certified fitness trainer and former competitive bench press competitor. He also enjoys culinary and pastry arts, Ufology studies, and is a produced screenwriter.
Throughout his career, Langley has had the privilege of working on several notable productions, including the FX series "Snowfall," CBS's "Reckless," Freeform's "Teen Spirit," and Showtime's "Going to California." He has shared the screen with talented actors such as Amin Joseph, Brennan Keel Cook, Kim Wayans, Lindsey Shaw, Cassie Scerbo, and the late Brad William Henke, directed by DJ Caruso.
