Lanie McAuley is a multifaceted actress and singer currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Her most notable performances to date include her recurring role as Emma Rogers, a talented musician, on the popular Hallmark series Chesapeake Shores, as well as her portrayal of Liza in the Netflix original drama How It Ends, starring the renowned Forest Whitaker.
Prior to establishing herself in the entertainment industry, McAuley hails from Vancouver, where she began her journey at the tender age of one by booking a Mattel commercial. Throughout her childhood and teenage years, she amassed an impressive résumé, featuring over 100 commercials for prominent brands such as Barbie and Bratz dolls.
After completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the prestigious Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, McAuley redirected her focus towards the film and television industry. Before making the transition to Los Angeles, she spent three formative years in Nashville, Tennessee, where she dedicated herself to her music project, MCAULEY. During this period, she wrote and recorded original songs, eventually releasing her debut single, "Animal," in 2019.
