Larry's fascination with acting began early in his school days, where he would often run for class office and participate in sports, viewing it all as a performance. His first taste of the stage came in a high school production of "Oklahoma," where he showcased his versatility by playing both the Sheriff and a dancing cowboy.
After accumulating a diverse range of life and career experiences, including serving as an Artillery Officer and company commander in the US Army, becoming a managing partner at the New York Stock Exchange, and touring the country as a Senior Professional Golfer, Larry reignited his passion for acting. Following the conclusion of his real-life roles, he relocated to Chicago to be with his two children, considering it the perfect opportunity to seriously pursue his acting career.
Larry feels grateful to have had the chance to study with renowned industry professionals, whose encouragement led him to Los Angeles. He has since secured a recurring role as Mr. Novak on "General Hospital" and appeared in an Emmy-nominated episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Most recently, Larry was featured in the ABC TV prime-time mini-series "When We Rise," playing the role of Supreme Court Justice Scalia.
Larry believes that actors are "shamans" - the storytellers - and finds no greater satisfaction than developing a character, telling his story, and impacting the audience.
When Larry is not on set, he enjoys traveling, trading stocks, participating in charitable golf events, and barbecuing. In the future, he plans to continue applying his expert golfing skills to help raise money for charitable causes.
