Laura Carly Miller was born in the city of New Westminster, situated in the province of British Columbia. She grew up in the picturesque town of Maple Ridge, surrounded by her loving family, which consisted of her father, Ollie Miller, her mother, Darlene Miller, and her younger sister, Sarah Miller. From a tender age, Laura demonstrated a natural inclination towards performing, which would eventually become a defining aspect of her life.
As a young girl, Laura began dancing competitively at the age of five, and her passion for the art form continued unabated throughout her university years. Her affinity for the stage soon translated into a love for acting, which she discovered during her high school days. She joined the school's drama classes and had the privilege of playing multiple lead roles in her school's productions.
After completing high school, Laura pursued a three-year diploma program in Acting for Stage and Screen at Capilano University in North Vancouver. Following her graduation, she began her professional acting career, appearing in both local theatre productions and film and television projects in Vancouver.
One of Laura's most notable achievements is her work on the web series "The Support Group," which she co-wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in alongside her two girlfriends. The web series was produced under their production company, Beyond Theatre Productions (BTP),a platform they established to showcase their own creative endeavors, including sketch comedies, web series, and plays.
