Laura Seay is a multifaceted creative force, boasting a impressive array of skills as an actor, writer, director, and producer. Her most recent notable role was starring alongside Michael Cera in Steven Soderbergh's 2023 sci-fi comedy series, COMMAND Z.
Prior to this, she has accumulated a diverse range of onscreen credits, including appearances in MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. opposite Ming-Na Wen and Clark Gregg, NCIS, NCIS: NOLA, CBS's Pure Genius opposite Dermot Mulroney, Judd Apatow's SUPERBAD, and many more.
In addition to her onscreen work, Laura has also showcased her talents as a stand-up comedian, performing at renowned venues such as THE COMEDY STORE in Los Angeles, The Duplex in New York, and the Brooklyn Comedy Collective for NYC's Annual Comedy Festival.
As a director, Laura has made a name for herself with her dark and hilariously provocative short film, The Coupon, in which she also starred. This critically acclaimed work earned recognition and awards at top genre and Oscar Qualifying festivals, including Fantastic Fest, FilmQuest, Telluride Horror Show, and Slash International Film Festival in Vienna.
The Baldwin Archives, another of her projects, toured LGBTQI and BIPOC programs, garnering recognition at Outfest, NewFest, Out On Film, and was named one of the 25 Best Shorts at Hollyshorts by Awards Daily.
Laura is an active member of the Alliance of Women Directors, and her dedication to her craft is evident in her diverse and impressive body of work.
