Lauren Schmidt Hissrich

American television producer and screenwriter, born in the state of Ohio, boasts a prestigious educational background, having graduated from Wittenberg University in the year 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. Throughout her illustrious career, she has penned scripts for numerous television shows, including the critically acclaimed "The West Wing" and "Justice". Moreover, she has demonstrated her versatility as a writer and producer by creating and producing shows such as "Daredevil" and "Private Practice". Currently, she is working on a new project for Netflix, which she will both write and produce, titled "The Witcher", a series based on the renowned Polish novel by Andrzej Sapkowski. When not working on her latest endeavors, she resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Michael Hissrich, a fellow television producer, and their two children, Harry and Ben.
