Naouri's academic odyssey commenced at the esteemed École Centrale de Lyon, where he embarked on an initial foray into higher learning before unexpectedly shifting his academic trajectory in 1986 to focus his attention on the world of opera.

Naouri's professional journey in France began in 1992 with a remarkable debut performance as the title character in Darius Milhaud's opera "Christophe Colomb" (Christopher Columbus),marking a significant milestone at the prestigious Imperial Theatre in Compiègne, which also marked the inauguration of this esteemed venue. This inaugural appearance was merely the starting point for a diverse and extensive repertoire, encompassing a wide range of musical styles and eras, from the renowned Baroque masterpieces of Monteverdi to the innovative works of contemporary composers. Throughout his career, Naouri has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most illustrious conductors of his time, including Maurizio Benini, William Christie, René Jacobs, Marc Minkowski, and Kent Nagano, each of whom has contributed to his artistic growth and development.

Noted French baritone, Alexandre Naouri, embarked on his illustrious career with a debut performance at the esteemed Opéra Garnier, showcasing his remarkable vocal range and stage presence in the title role of Thésée in Rameau's timeless masterpiece, "Hippolyte et Aricie".
