Lee, a first-generation Palestinian-American filmmaker, has made a name for himself in the industry with his captivating storytelling and versatility in his craft. Growing up in New York, Lee's passion for storytelling began at a young age, as he would often perform in theater productions and create short films with his family's camera.
After completing his studies in film and theater, Lee sold his first screenplay and has since worked professionally as a writer, director, editor, and cinematographer. His unique blend of raw drama and tragic-comedy is evident in his music videos, short films, and commercials, which have been featured with notable companies such as Sunshine Sachs, Bond Strategy and Influence, Livestream, and Edizioni Conde` Nast.
Lee's extensive experience spans across various mediums, including short films, feature films, commercials, and music videos. He has contributed to a successful sketch comedy web series, The Shorts Show, as a writer, director, and actor. His films have received numerous awards and accolades, with Prism, an anthology feature film, winning an award at the Art Of Brooklyn Film Festival.
Other notable works include Short Ex Vivo, which was awarded at the Raw Science Film Festival and LA Live Score Film Festival, and Za'atar, which garnered an award from Open Screenplay. Lee's cinematography skills were showcased in the short film Barry, which premiered at SXSW and was nominated for the Grand Jury Award.
One of Lee's latest projects, a dance narrative titled Glance, starring world-renowned dancer Kylie Shae, has won several awards at festivals worldwide, including the prestigious CommArts award.
