Born in the year 1976, in the city of Anqiu, China, Leon began his journey in the world of photography and filmmaking.

He went on to graduate from the prestigious Communication University of China, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for storytelling through visual media.

Leon's professional and personal life is centered in Beijing, where he resides and works as a photographer and filmmaker.

In 2009, he made a significant impact in the photography world by winning the top prize at the International Festival of Photography of Lianzhou, thanks to his powerful documentary film, "Beijing Besieged by Waste".

This documentary, which explores the effects of pollution and waste on the city of Beijing, is a testament to Leon's ability to capture the beauty and complexity of the human experience through his lens.

In addition to "Beijing Besieged by Waste", Leon has also produced another notable documentary, "Plastic China", which is the result of an 18-month journey in a plastic recycling factory in Shandong province.
